Welcome to Bitlok DEX ("Bitlok", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bitlok DEX website (bitlokswap.com) and our decentralized swap services (the "Services"). As a non-custodial decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), we provide a platform for users to swap tokens using PancakeSwap liquidity. We do not hold, store, or control your funds, private keys, or assets. All transactions occur directly on the blockchain via smart contracts.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Bitlok DEX, a service provider based in India. You must read these Terms carefully, including our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically for updates.

1. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Not be a restricted person or entity under Indian laws (e.g., under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, or sanctions lists).
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  • Not be located in a jurisdiction where our Services are prohibited (e.g., restricted countries under Indian foreign exchange regulations).

By using the Services, you represent that you meet these eligibility criteria. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate them.

2. Services Description

Bitlok DEX provides a user interface for swapping tokens on BSC using PancakeSwap smart contracts. Key features include:

  • Token selection and pair routing (direct or via WBNB).
  • Price estimation via PancakeSwap Router.
  • Execution of swaps through DEXWrapper (if deployed) or direct Router calls.

We are solely a service provider facilitating access to blockchain-based swaps. We do not:

  • Custody, hold, or manage user funds or keys.
  • Provide investment advice, trading signals, or financial services.
  • Guarantee swap execution, prices, or liquidity (all subject to blockchain volatility and pool availability).

All swaps are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. You are responsible for verifying transaction details before signing.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Indian laws (e.g., Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and Income Tax Act, 1961).
  • Secure your private keys and wallet. We are not liable for lost funds due to theft, phishing, or user error.
  • Verify all transaction details, including slippage, fees, and pair liquidity, before confirming.
  • Report any suspected unauthorized activity immediately to support@bitlokswap.com.
  • Not engage in prohibited activities, including:
    • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud.
    • Market manipulation or pump-and-dump schemes.
    • Using the Services for illegal gambling or sanctions evasion.

You must have a compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask) and sufficient BNB for gas fees. We are not responsible for network congestion or failed transactions.

4. Fees and Charges

  • Swap Fees: Swaps may incur network gas fees (paid in BNB) and liquidity provider fees (via PancakeSwap, typically 0.25%). If using our DEXWrapper, an additional 0.5% service fee applies (payable to the contract owner).
  • No Hidden Fees: All fees are displayed before confirmation. We do not charge subscription or withdrawal fees.
  • Changes: We may update fees by posting notice on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for illegal activities or to violate laws.
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform, smart contracts, or blockchain (e.g., DDoS attacks).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with our code or smart contracts.
  • Impersonate others or provide false information.
  • Spam, harass, or post harmful content on our site.

Violations may result in immediate termination of access without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Bitlok DEX name, logo, and website content are our property or licensed to us.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
  • Blockchain data (e.g., transactions) is public domain; we make no claim over it.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • No Warranty: The Services are provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific swap outcomes.
  • Risks: Cryptocurrency trading involves high risk, including total loss of funds. You use the Services at your own risk. We are not liable for blockchain failures, smart contract bugs, market volatility, or third-party actions (e.g., PancakeSwap).
  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed INR 1,000.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations, without notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of India. You waive objections to venue or jurisdiction.

10. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., blockchain outages).
